- Develop and execute strategies for major Direct Material and process local purchasing
- Support regional and global commodity strategies by providing customer demands and requirements and driving implementation of the strategies within the area of responsibility.
- Coordinate and/or lead local purchasing activities with Purchasing Director
- Coordinate efforts to develop and implement programs to drive savings, supply base optimization.
- Coordinate and conduct quarterly supplier reviews, and supplier qualifications using the Supplier Quality Management process.
- Negotiate prices, terms and quality requirements with domestic and international suppliers for indirect material requirements with Purchasing Director.
- Manage and negotiate all commercial aspects of the contracts with suppliers.
- Endorse and support domestic and global team’s commodity sourcing initiatives with other Sectors on required products and services.
- Support purchase-to-pay process ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Follow and adopt the market trends and new Technologies,
