ROLE and amp; PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Provincial Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit (PCAPU) is a sixbed inpatient psychiatric unit providing specialized services in the areas of diagnosis clarification assessment and treatment for youth who require a concentrated and comprehensive service. Patients and their families are treated by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry psychology social work educator nursing and patient support workers.

JOB PURPOSE

The Manager of Psychology is responsible for overseeing the provision of clinical psychological services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Masters/PHD degree in Clinical Psychology. If master educated the candidate must have 2 years of practice experience and nbsp;
• Must be licensed as a Psychologist under the New Brunswick College of Psychologists Act.
• Must have three years of experience working in a healthcare setting. and nbsp;
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record. and nbsp;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the planning and development of psychology service
• Directing overseeing and evaluating the provision of services
• Managing fiscal and human resources to ensure the quality and safety of service delivery
• Coordinating and evaluating workload and service deliver
• Providing clinical leadership and mentoring
• Developing monitoring and ensuring compliance with standards policies and procedures
• Performing the work of a psychologist

COMPENSATION AND RELOCATION PACKAGE

CAD $90100/hr PHD Educated

CAD $6575/hr Masters educated

$50 Daily Stipend (which can be used towards food/gas/etc)

Local Vehicle Rental

Airfare/Gas Reimbursement

Full Accommodation Coverage (up to $200/day)

Can potentially cover license expenses (1year commitment)
