Projects and Quality Control Manager

• University graduate with qualification in Mechanical/ chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical degrees with hands on experience in Aviation or terminal operations.
• 8 to 10 years of in field operations experience in a complex environment.
• Supervision experience, Teamwork building and coaching to draw out the best of subordinates.
• Effective communication skills required both internally with staff and externally with auditors, authorities, and partners.
• Strong Background on Aviation fuel international Specification and lab chemical testing.
• Knowledge of Aviation fueling business in general, in addition to airport Jet fuel supply chain from refinery/ supply source.
• Strong HSEQ advocacy, Risk management, and background knowledge of work site safety requirements and permit issuing.
• Problem Solving and decision making; in technical reviews and day to day operational issues.
• Ability to influence direct and indirect team members for achieving desired results.
• Ability for frequent mobility for suppliers and contractors.
• Proven Project management experience.
• Computer fluency in different MS Office applications and fluent English Language skills.
  
  

Activités

• The Quality control department at the depot in line with JIG standards, quality control scope is related to all depot quality aspects product, documentation including policies and procedures for different operational activities.
• Technical arm offering technical services for the operator and share technical advice and industry best practices for depot critical operation to ensure sustainability and efficiency of the depot.
• Always updated with API, EI, ATI HSEQ and JIG standards, bulletins, and JIG common processes to implement between depot departments.
• Responsible for new projects confirming full compliance with Total tendering and HSE process and monitor budgeted OPEX and CAPEX to complete the projects in the agreed time frame.
• The position is responsible for tracking facility gaps identified from various inspections JIG, IATA IFQP inspections and also from external local authorities and governmental agencies (i.e., Environmental authorities (EEA), Civil Aviation (ECAA), Civil defense...etc) that are within JV manager controls, and coordinate those out of controls action items to JV’s operating and management committees, to ensure each partner carries out assigned actions/ facilitate funding required in timely manner.
• The main challenge in the position to be able to perform the a/m scope without having power on the JV staff this need special skill to influence people without being their direct manager.
