To be successful in this role, you will have to excel at the following:
- Leading Agile Delivery Teams: Lead one or more multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams to deliver new products and/or iterations to existing products in accordance with user requirements.
- User Requirements Gathering: Gather user requirements based on a communicable understanding of diverse audience groups.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Define and obtain stakeholder buy-in for product definition and delivery approach.
- Product Planning: Create effective, prioritized product descriptions, and delivery plans to meet user needs in a cost-effective manner.
- User Research Interpretation: Interpret user research to make informed product decisions, recognizing that users may not always know what they want.
- User Behavior Analysis: Stay updated on changes in user habits, preferences, and behaviors across various digital platforms and their implications for successful government digital service delivery.
- Data-Driven Delivery: Support the delivery and iteration of digital services through effective analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data.
- Effective Communication: Communicate credibly across a wide range of digital delivery disciplines and talent.
Requirements
You must have the following experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing the delivery of digital products and platforms.
- Strong technical knowledge of software development processes and technologies.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Budget and resource management expertise
- Ability to develop and maintain project management plans and other project documentation
- Exceptional time management and scheduling skills.
- Excellent risk management skills, including identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and software testing methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and stakeholder engagement.
- Client and stakeholder management proficiency.
- Ability to identify, establish, and maintain project metrics and team KPIs
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry best practices.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.

- Relevant certifications (PMP, SPC, CompTIA Project+, CSM, SASM, etc.)
- Experience using leading project management tools (Jira, Rally, etc.)
