Production Technologist

Job brief

We are looking for a skilled Production Technologist to join our poultry slaughterhouse in the area of Fier (Albania). The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes ensuring efficiency and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires a combination of technical expertise problemsolving abilities and a thorough understanding of poultry processing operations. The candidates will be shortlisted through an Online Tailor Assessment in English.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize slaughterhouse production processes to increase efficiency reduce waste and improve product quality.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of production equipment ensuring it is functioning optimally and safely.
• Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet industry standards and ensure product safety and consistency.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production area. Conduct regular safety audits and train staff on safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve technical and operational issues within the production line.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the supply chain maintenance and quality assurance teams to align production activities with broader company objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and practices in poultry processing and propose improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Food Technology Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production role preferably in a Poultry Slaughterhouse or related food processing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and equipment used in poultry processing.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Albanian and English (Example: Toeic L&R 550 out 990) is preferred.
• Detailoriented with a focus on product quality and safety.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and challenging environment.
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
