Background

Mastercard has developed a product to manage airport lounge access (MACS) and is looking for an experienced Product Owner to manage this product for the SEE (Romania Hungary Czech republic and Slovakia markets. Previous experience in the MACS product is not necessary we are looking for someone with strong Product Management / Ownership experience and the ability to build and manage external supplier and internal relationships.

Context

In SEE and some other neighboring markets Mastercard is handling the airport lounge access via MACS (Mastercard Access Control System). Its a platform which is used to validate eligibility conditions for lounge access: active card enrolled BIN spend threshold etc. The system behind is quite complex as it also involves a 3rd party in charge with overall system development maintenance configuration etc. The POS in the lounge infrastructure is provided by a third party. The overall system is centralized across all the geographies with some local flavors.

Responsibilities Include:

Daily operation and checks

Bug fixing (identification suppliers discussions testing deployment overview etc.)

Tier 1 support and SPOC

Implementations (similar to bug fixing and also including new contracting if needed)

Overall supplier management

Experience Required

Previous experience as a Product Owner preferably though not essentially in the payments domain

Strong experience building and managing relationships with external suppliers
