Process Consultant - CMDB Pune-Remote

• Establish documents procedures for configuration identification control status accounting and verification.
• Evaluates performance metrics against the defined success factors and institutes actions to correct shortcomings or further streamline the process as necessary
• Overseeing the Integrations between CMDB and other IT Systems to ensure realtime accurate data synchronizations and ensuring proper data loading at predefined frequency.
• Configure and setup Health Rules such as required attributes recommended attributes and ensures no configuration item go stale and reduce redundancy and delicacy in the system.
• Responsible for execution of the process controls ensuring that staff comply with the process and data standards
• Ensure the process procedures work instructions and tools are optimal from a department/ section point of view.
• Use or provide the CMS data to facilitate Impact Assessment for RFCs and to ensure that implemented changes are authorized
• Interfaces with other processes and/ or business functions to ensure they are able to leverage the benefits provided by the configuration management process
• Ensure all new Cis are added to the database and regular housekeeping of the CMS database.
• Engage with other departments to keep an uptodate view on their objectives and activities and coordinate configuration management issues with the departments when needed.
• Directs prioritizes and schedules audits; ensures thar corrective actions are identified in the process and/ or database audits are carried out.
• Plans and manages population of Configuration Management system including discovery and other data import methods
• Produces reports and management information including impact analysis reports and configuration status reports.
