Job Title: Power BI Architect
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Power BI Architect to oversee our reporting teams activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in moving backend of 400 reports from current Microsoft SSIS SSAS SSRS to Snowflake and managing the reporting process ensuring accuracy efficiency and timely delivery of reports. The Reporting Team Lead will lead a team of analysts/developers fostering a collaborative and resultsdriven environment. He/She should talk to Data Stewards on a frequent basis to get the user stores and convert into technical requirements for the team to work on. The candidate should lead the design and development of the project. The candidate should have following mandatory technical skills:
Proficient (Ex) in creating PowerBI reports.
Hands on Experience of working in Snowflake.
Understanding of MSBI stack.
Expert in writing complex SQL and MultiDimensional queries.
Understanding of Data warehousing concepts and Data Vault 2.0.
Understanding of Versioning and Ticketing Tools.
Understanding of CI/CD Processes.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of reporting analysts/developers providing guidance and support in their daytoday activities.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development.
Help the team with Technical Roadblocks.
Report Development and Design:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and objectives.
Architect and design endtoend Power BI solutions that meet business requirements and drive datadriven decisionmaking processes.
Ensure reports meet quality standards are accurate and provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
Able to understand OLAP cubes and tabular models built in SSAS.
Collaborate with data engineering team to bring the data till the source layer for reporting.
Interpret data and provide actionable recommendations to drive business decisions.
Process Improvement:
Develop reporting processes which increases efficiency scalability accuracy and maintainability.
Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting standards.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline data collection and reporting workflows.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.
Conduct regular audits and checks to identify and rectify data discrepancies.
Provide training and guidance to the team on quality assurance processes.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with various departments to understand their reporting needs and requirements and translate them into technical specification for Power BU dashboards and reports.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure reports align with business objectives.
Present findings and insights to leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
