Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design of plumbing and firefighting works (water supply, sanitary and storm drains, LPG, NG, medical gases, and firefighting systems).
• Prepare Basis of Design Report for the project.
• Prepare project requirement space matrix.
• Prepare the design works for the project according to project submission stages (concept stage, schematic stage, Detailed design stage and tender document stage.)
• Prepare plumbing and firefighting calculations according to the project’s regulation and standards.
• Ensure effective coordination with other disciplines such as Architectural, Electrical and Structural Engineering.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English language (speaking, reading and writing).
• Demonstrating proficiency in Autodesk Revit, CAD and Microsoft office applications.
• Has an experience in Elite software.
• Design experience is a must, construction experience is a plus.
• Previous experience working on projects in the Gulf region and high-rise construction projects is a plus.
• Familiar with local authority requirements and regulations.
• Familiar with international Codes and Standards.
