Job Description: We are looking for an experienced PL SQL Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing testing and maintaining PL SQL code to meet the business needs of our organization. The successful candidate should have a strong background in database development be detailoriented and possess excellent problemsolving skills.
Responsibilities:
Database Development:
- Design develop and maintain PL SQL code to support various applications and business processes.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions.
Performance Tuning:
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in PL SQL code.
- Conduct regular performance tuning activities to ensure optimal database performance.
Code Review and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for PL SQL development.
Troubleshooting and Debugging:
- Investigate and resolve issues related to database functionality and performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot problems reported by endusers or other team members.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for PL SQL code and database structures.
- Keep documentation uptodate with any changes or enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PL SQL Developer or similar role.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and normalization.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
