Photo Archivist specialist

Responsibilities:

Gather and research photos and videos from news agencies, specialized image agencies, and primary image sources.

Effectively organize and index visual media to ensure convenient access at any time.

Verify intellectual property rights and licenses associated with collected visual media.

Work closely with production teams to provide the required media.

Use image and video editing software to enhance and modify visual images as and when needed.

Maintain the security and confidentiality of visual media.

Requirements:

Previous experience in collecting visual media and archive management.

Familiarity with news agencies and primary media sources.

Proficiency in using editing software such as Photoshop and Premiere.

Ability to deal with image agents and content providers.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work within a team.

Knowledge about intellectual property rights and media licenses.

Code images and files in a simplified manner for easy and convenient access through cloud storage media.
