We are seeking a proactive and passionate paid media professional who has a knack for delivering clever solutions to challenging problems.

We are seeking a team player who takes a collaborative approach with a focus on building and retaining strong relationships with clients internal departments and suppliers.

You will be working with a team of highly capable brand comms content and digital strategists as the paid media specialist on some of the most exciting brands in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop paid media strategies centred on achieving the client s business objectives.

Integrate and work together with brand or comms strategists in delivering integrated strategic solutions.

Drive clients business forward by working closely with the account management teams to add value and grow client accounts strategically.

Identifying and sharing new paid media opportunities and upskilling the broader strategy team.

Collaborating internally with the client service data creative and social teams to deliver integrated digital campaigns for clients.

Collaborating with paid media suppliers: Briefing overseeing implementation and reporting.

Maintain an umbrella perspective; provide ongoing strategic support and advice to clients that may impact on the strategy and instigate a change in strategic direction.

Be able to work with minimal supervision and deliver to deadline.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

Degree in Media Planning Digital Marketing or related field required.

At least 4 years experience as a Paid Media Strategist.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

A critical thinker.

Deadlinedriven organized and detailobsessed.

Be tuned in to emerging digital trends updates from the Big Four as well as local media players.

Interpersonal skills ability to engage with clients and with internal teams to drive strategies forward.

Experience in working on automotive paid media brands would be advantageous.
