Oracle EBS Consultant

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs and implements application configurations to meet business processes and application requirements
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodology is a plus
• Work with Technical resources to build the concurrent process
• Should be able to juggle multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment
• Develop operating system scripts to automate backups data transfers monitoring
• Provides direction and coaching to other IT staff
• Work with business to manage demand/backlog for IT changes
• Work with IT analysts/developers to track change progress
• Assists with requirements gathering and definition
• Design develop implement maintain and unit test PL/SQL software applications over Oracle database and Linux on different database schemas functions and stored procedures
• Converts business requirements into technical specifications technical project plans
• Works with functional analysts/superusers to identify gaps and explore resolution options
• Lead and participate in the implementation and customization of Oracle EBS modules
• Provide functional and technical expertise in Oracle EBS applications
• Writes scripts and sets up test data for unit performance (load stress) and system integration testing particularly packaged application configurations
• Supports UAT and longflow testing
• Provides technical (L2/L3) support for applications
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on Oracle eBS Financials produce scalable efficient and supportable solutions with appropriate technical solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies
• Support global Oracle eBS Financial system interfacing with multiple regional systems and 3rd party applications
• Work with global team members of finance clients IT Developers other support teams and thirdparty vendors
• Collaborate with business leaders and other IT leaders in developing an architecture and application roadmap that costeffectively meets or exceeds the business requirements
• Responsible for the completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements
• Manage implementations of technical and functional Oracle EBS solutions
• Responsible for project finances including the development of financial plans

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS modules such as Financials Supply Chain HRMS and CRM
• List any licenses or certifications of EBS ITIL PMP SCRUM CISA CBAP PMI SSO OPP or DBA that will be an added advantage for the position
• 3 years of experience with largescale consulting including supporting Oraclerelated applications such as proficiency with tools used to support Oracle applications
• Experience developing solutions for Oracle s eBusiness Suite and participating in multiple Oracle application implementations and at least one 12.2 implementation
• Ability and desire to guide and teach developers new to EBS and assist them in becoming advanced EBS developers
• Knowledge of security systems including firewalls intrusion detection systems authentication systems log management and content filtering
• Demonstrates expert understanding of and experience with QA best practices processes and methodologies and their application in an enterprise environment
• Ability to lead other junior QA team members and coordinate User Acceptance testing
• Minimum of 6 years of manual functional/regression testing design and execution experience within Oracle EBusiness Data Warehouse Cognos and web applications
• Experience with developing a Java integration with an external interfaced system including travel or procurement systems
• Experience with Java programming including developing integrations with Oracle database and APIs
• Experience in technical specifications and design Oracle forms reports SQL PL/SQL UNIX and supporting Oracle EBS R12 and integrations using Java technologies
• Experience with the current Oracle EBS offerings and related products including federal versions
