Job Description

  • Responsible for creating and developing a new department mining with new business opportunities within Indonesian market and for supporting the business with the development of strategic business planning and value propositioning.
  • Responsible for the market research of viable revenue streams development of products testing and validation. Identifying upcoming Tenders and the subsequent securing of contacts and meetings with potential new clients.
  • The OSM will liaise as the first point of contact for all business leads providing technical data on the company products solutions and services; and for the timely response of quote requests.
  • The achievement of business growth in alignment with the company Strategic Objectives and Targets and detailed in a (2x) yearly updated business plan Mining entry.
  • Developing testing trailing validating a range of required products in steel mesh resins which comply with the client requirements and industry standards.
  • Building and leading a team as a manufacturer supplier installation support partner.
  • To establish maintain and promote a professional corporate image whilst performing Business Development and Marketing interactions on behalf of the company.
  • Liaising with the company Internal and External Stakeholders including Clients and Industry Partners and suppliers and employees by establishing rapport and focussing on the building and maintaining of professional longterm relationships.
  • This includes strategic planning activities with Management and Support roles to ensure alignment in client messaging and approach and delivery of services and product in accordance with client agreements and expectations.
  • To ensure internal and external communications including contact via email phone or face to face contact are conducted professionally courteously and with the company corporate image and reputation at the forefront of all engagements and interactions.
  • Compiling of reporting in the DYWIDAG Management team regarding new and existing business feedback from Clients and valueadd / enhanced service recommendations.
  • Following of industry trends locally and internationally.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position or industry.
  • Business or Engineering Degree.
  • Extensive Sales/Marketing experience within the mining product market (10 years).
  • Extensive experience in the MINING Industry (especially Freeport market).
  • A bachelors degree in a relevant field or a related discipline from a reputable university.
  • A masters degree in business administration (MBA) or a similar qualification is a plus.
  • Strong management and marketing skills with proven ability to target and win new business opportunities and build a business.
  • Ability to guide (a specialist to draft) professional marketing materials and proposals for Client presentations and tender submissions.
  • Strategic mindset ability to negotiate with Stakeholders and in building and maintaining a strong Client base and close deals.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and converse at appropriate levels.
  • Driven selfmotivated and goal oriented.
  • Creative mindset focused on new and innovative marketing techniques.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to produce professional business documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an existing and growing Client base.
  • Willingness to continually improve understanding of DYWIDAG products and their capabilities
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Able to work within conflicting priorities to achieve a deadline.
  • The ability to work efficiently and independently and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Able to function efficiently and effectively in all business environments.
  • Superior communications skills Able to establish and foster trusted business relationships; resolve conflict and work cohesively with Client and Colleague to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and strategically across a diverse variety of Internal and External Stakeholders.
