Job Title: OpenShift Architect/Admin
Location: NYC Hybrid Role
Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension)
Job Description:
- Looking for an OpenShift Architect/Admin.
- Design build and execute an OpenShift proof of concept for our client.
- Demonstrate running one of their critical applications (Java based running on window currently) that is not currently containerized under OpenShift.
- Recommend/create a reference architecture/design for cross data center scalable and highly available environment. Determine what if any efficiencies can be gained by hosting Windows and RHEL virtual machines on OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt) versus current VMWare/ESXi.
- Skills: Experience in designing deploying and configuring OpenShift onprem.
- Handson implementation expertise with application containerization & orchestration.
- Experience with OpenShift Virtualization of both Window and RHEL.
- Note: Client dont have any OpenShift environment and he/she must start from scratch.
