Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Okta Developer with a strong background in Identity Access Management (IAM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Okta with a focus on handson development and technical leadership. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with cuttingedge technology in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the gathering of business functional and technical requirements for establishing an Okta Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform.
• Translate requirements into designs and provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the development lifecycle.
• Handson development and customization of Okta CIAM solutions including but not limited to:
• Okta API Access Management for securing APIs.
• Delegated Authentication.
• Access Gateway configuration.
• Multifactor Authentication implementation.
• Org2Org Configuration.
• Customization of Signin Widget.
• Integration with databases and other systems.
• Implement different methods for creating Okta sessions for Single SignOn including redirectUrl OIDC authorize and Legacy Sessions API.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with SAML 2.0 SCIM OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 implementation flows.
• Experience with Okta Access Manager is a plus.
• Migration experience from Headerbased applications.
• Knowledge of custom domain setup and certificate management.
• Handson experience with Java J2EE and REST API development.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues during migration and onboarding activities.
• Integration with other platforms such as Salesforce Splunk Directory/LDAP RoleBased Access Control (RBAC) and ServiceNow.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Identity Access Management with at least 4 years of specialized expertise in IAM and 4 years with Okta.
• Handson experience with Okta CIAM or Auth0 is mandatory.
• Proven track record of handson development and technical leadership.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
• Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field is preferred.
