Security Comments: The following screenings must be met by all contract labor resources at PharMerica and need to be ran through HireRight: Select from Packages 14 1) Candidates must pass an 8 Panel Drug Screen and a 7 Year County/Federal Background Check. They no longer test for Marijuana. 2) EVerify is required. 3) All resources must be screened against lists of Ineligible Persons on the OIG/GSA sites. (Office Inspector General/General Services Administration) Candidates fail if they are on an exclusion list. 4) Temporary Form must be completed and sent back to MSP. 5) Appropriate Registrations/Licenses/Certifications (specific to position) 6) Online training must be completed prior to start. MSP will register user and PharMericas system will send training directly.
Position Description: Pay Rate $60.00 Must be local candidate. Shift is 8:30 am 5:30 pm with alternate Saturdays. Please select Package 1 in HireRight Possible Temp to Perm Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug dosage potential interactions and route of administration. Makes recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff as appropriate Maintains patient/resident database to include appropriate current and past medical history appropriate clinical and laboratory data and concurrent medication (including overthecounter and home remedies) Ensures that appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring certain highrisk conditions are ordered evaluated and discussed with appropriate members of the healthcare team Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed Documents all communication with physicians nurses other members of the healthcare team and patients/residents and their family members in the medical record Implements policies and procedures for the safe procurement storage distribution and use of drugs and biologicals as well as disposal of drugs Obtains as necessary and maintains all required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies and policy Informs the Pharmacy Manager of medication related errors Assists facility/agency staff personnel with procedures relating to safe and effective methods of procuring maintaining administering and disposing of drugs Performs other tasks as assigned Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Pharmacy; Pharm D preferred One year experience in longterm care Licenses/Certifications: As required by government regulations and business needs Detail oriented; goal oriented team player oral communication
