Job Summary

As a Nonprofit Assistant you will support the operations and initiatives of our organization from a remote location. Join our team and contribute to our mission by providing administrative communications and project management assistance to further our nonprofit goals.


Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing calendars scheduling meetings and organizing virtual events for staff and stakeholders.

  • Maintain digital records files and databases ensuring accuracy and accessibility for team members.

  • Draft edit and proofread emails newsletters and other communications for internal and external distribution.

  • Monitor and respond to inquiries from donors volunteers and community members via email or online platforms.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising campaigns including donor outreach solicitation and acknowledgment.

  • Help manage donor databases track contributions and generate reports to support fundraising efforts.

  • Provide support to project managers or program coordinators in planning executing and evaluating nonprofit programs and initiatives.

  • Assist with research data collection and analysis to inform decisionmaking and project planning.

  • Support the planning and execution of virtual events webinars or workshops including logistical coordination and attendee management.

  • Assist with promoting events through social media email marketing and other online channels.

  • Ad hoc tasks



Requirements

  • Minimum of a college degree
  • At least 2 years proven experience in administrative support communications or project management preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting emails reports and promotional materials
  • Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools document management systems and communication platforms
  • Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising principles donor relations and grant writing is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a virtual work environment
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the nonprofit organization
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision

Schedule: West African Time: full time/part time (Availability between 02:00pm and 12am)
