Network Security Manager

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Network Security Engineer in Cairo, Egypt. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for managing network administration, network security, network engineering, and cybersecurity. The Network Security Engineer will also need a strong background in information security.

Qualifications

• Excellent at Network Administration, Network Security, Network Engineering .
• Excellent Cybersecurity and Information Security skills.
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience as Network & Security Manager, proficient assessment tools and methodologies.
• Great knowledge of firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, and VPN technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with network protocols and packet analysis.
• Have a good knowledge of Firewall Technologies, especially FortiGate and Sophos.
• CCNA is mandatory (CCNP or CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
• Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, especially FortiGate and Sophos.
• Proficiency in integrating and managing endpoint security solutions such as Kaspersky, Intercept X, and CrowdStrike.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tool
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
