Please Note: The client is looking for all candidates to be local to the Maryland area unless otherwise noted.
Description of Work:
This position is an opportunity to become part of an exciting and dynamic team at the Client Corporation. This role will involve managing all aspects of the IP Address Management IPAM environment at client location and will be responsible for driving meaningful and technologically advanced changes to its capabilities. Dynamic and agile individuals will flourish in this role in what is an exciting time for the Client Corporation and its drive to provide great service to its customer.
Responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Lead IPAM strategytoexecution aligning it to larger IT/ Network org objectives.
- Champion new designs at all levels of the environment aligned to business/customer needs while fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
- Lead the transformation to a more automated environment driving standardization efficiencies and rapid automated recovery during outages.
- Drive regular reviews of the customer landscape looking at opportunities for potential enhancements to the environment with strong supporting data.
- Lead incumbent vendors to improve level of service address product issues and drive product enhancements.
- As a senior member of the team lead complex issue resolution with indepth troubleshooting and defining longerterm solutions to avoid repeat issues.
- Partner with other IT teams to resolve critical issues as part of Intels Emergency Response process.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum knowledge skills abilities needed.
- Bachelor s Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience; Master s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or a minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience administering the Infoblox IPAM product
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a System Administration discipline with experience administering vCenter Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in a DNS and IP topology administration engineering or architecture role.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience with the DNS DHCP SNMP TACACS and RADIUS protocols.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience working with IPv4 subnetting and subnet ranges virtual LANs (vlans) and SNMPbased network discovery.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience using and troubleshooting network management and performance monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
- At least 2 years of experience writing Python scripting language and Regular Expression
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and nontechnical audiences as well as interface with the customer daily.
- Agile planning process and working with product owners and technical leaders to identify the right priorities
- Using Data Analytics for problem solving and driving operational improvements
- Influencing nontechnical and technical leaders on driving technical and business process changes into the environment
- Working across multiple geographies with a strong one team mentality
- Stakeholder management for flawless management of key customer partnerships
- Leading large selfinitiated and/or customer driven projects to a successful outcome
Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed. Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD Cisco Certified Network Engineers must possess a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent level of Cisco Certification. CCNP certification must be the Enterprise Core (EnCor) version. Minimum three (3) years of hands-on network experience configuring routing protocols and switching configuration in medium (One Data Center and 600+ locations) to large enterprise (Two Data Centers and 1000+ locations) networks. Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience with AWS Networking and possess AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration. Passed the Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert Written examination within the last one year At least 2 years of experience writing Python scripting language and Regular Expression At Least 3 years of experience implementing Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) product in a large multi-data centers and enterprise environment. At least 3 years of experience deploying Cisco Virtual Private Network product such as Cisco ASA and Cisco Wireless LAN in a multi office and large campus environment. At least 3 years of experience working with physical media and equipment associated with each wired and wireless networking. Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis.
