Overview

Key responsibilities

• Designing and implementing network solutions that meet the organizations needs.
• Assessing the current network infrastructure and making recommendations for improvement.
• Leading network design and integration efforts for new projects or technologies.
• Ensuring network security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to integrate network systems with other IT components.
• Developing and maintaining network documentation and diagrams.
• Conducting regular network performance monitoring and optimization.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior network professionals.
• Researching and evaluating new network technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
• Participating in the planning and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Addressing networkrelated issues and outages in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with vendors and service providers to procure networkrelated products and services.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and address their networking needs.
• Participating in the creation and enforcement of networkrelated policies and procedures.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in network architecture and design with a focus on largescale enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in network routing and switching protocols such as BGP OSPF and VLANs.
• Expertise in network security principles and best practices including firewalls VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Experience with wireless network design and management.
• Indepth knowledge of network performance monitoring and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are a plus.
• Ability to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in network technology.
• Proven track record of successful implementation of network projects and initiatives.
• Understanding of network governance risk management and compliance requirements.
• Experience in network capacity planning and scalability assessments.
• Knowledge of softwaredefined networking (SDN) concepts and practices.
