Job Description

- Mining Mate Certificate of Competency.
- He shall have minimum 05 years of independent experience in mine operations including blasting operations.
- He shall of sound knowledge of machine safety and operational safety aspects.
- He shall have the sound knowledge of productivity and quality parameters.
- He shall have sound knowledge on drilling and blasting parameters.
- To perform the duties of Mining Mate as specified in Reg.47 of Metalliferous Mines Regulation 1961.
- He shall have to maintain all statutory records related to PESO and DGMS.
- He shall have the knowledge on SOP related to all mining operations.
- He shall have the knowledge of cost optimization in mining operations.
- He shall have responsible for planning of safe operation of various HEMMs.
- He shall maintain his own statutory diary for daily activities.
- He shall assist Forman Mining / Asst. Manager Mining as per the requirements.
