Mechanical Technician

• Perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
  
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues related to machinery HVAC (heating ventilation and air conditioning) systems and other mechanical components.
  
• Collaborate with engineers to install modify and upgrade mechanical systems.
  
• Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and schematics.
  
• Utilize precision tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate measurements and adjustments.
  
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and longevity of mechanical systems.
  
• Comply with safety regulations and guidelines during maintenance and repair activities.
  
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  

Requirements

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in the related field.
  
• Proven experience as a mechanical technician preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems hydraulics pneumatics and HVAC.
  
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
