Job Description

This is a great opportunity to provide Project Management leadership at client to participate as a leader in one of our top strategic Mergers and Acquisitions projects working with internal client and Diversey team members including external vendors and partners to plan and implement Master Data validation & loads.

This position requires strong planning scheduling and execution capabilities as our business relies heavily on our ability to be assertive creative and transparent. The Project Management Office is a valueadded service that is easy to engage and reliable in delivery. The best candidate will be an individual contributor who can lead a global team with internal and external resources to plan and execute projects. This position requires someone with Strong listening skills with the ability to return clear understanding orally or written. There is an emphasis to have the capability to work in a fastpaced environment to achieve business outcomes through project delivery. The position requires that the Project Manager uses the current PMO tools and processes to ensure quality of project status and reporting as required on a scheduled or adhoc basis. Requires frequent interaction and communication with the Business Process Management team for resource prioritization scheduling and execution.

These are the Key Skills Required:

  • Understanding of Master Data and transactional data types in SAP
  • Ability to adjust and replan to best utilize resources to get the job done quickly.
  • Project Planning using several types of tools including Excel MS Project Smartsheet
  • Ability to communicate effectively to Clevel executives especially challenges that require support.
  • Ability to negotiate for required resources requiring little supervision to work with a global team.
  • Ability to provide strong leadership to a global team working long hours to get the data validated and loaded on time which is the lifeblood of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Management Reporting and Budget Management:

  • Lead and implement given projects aligned with business goals
  • Facilitate creation and presentation of business cases project charters and implement deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide project stakeholders and PMO Director VP PMO and CIO with regular project status & reporting Biweekly performance and Steering Committee meetings
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear concise and professional presentations and communications.
  • Works with PMO leaders to report budget and scheduling impacting issues change requests business decisions.

Project Stakeholder Management

  • Must be resultsoriented our business stakeholders look for creative ways to achieve business benefits quickly.
  • Excellent analytical skills must be able to quickly analyze issues and facilitate development of mitigation plans.
  • Working well with a diverse group of technical and nontechnical colleagues and being able to lead them to delivering their overall objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills influencing negotiating and leading people inside and outside of IT.
  • Excellent team building skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning skills with experience in Microsoft Project & Smartsheet. We use KeyedIn projects for Portfolio Management in which we will train.
  • Experience and knowledge of business processes and applications regarding Technology or Track is a plus for these positions.
