Materials Scheduler

Responsibilities:
• Running MRP, developing materials schedule for each supplier & ensuring that exceptions are Supports the follow up of materials delivery schedules as per MRP runs for each supplier.
• Ensuring requirements are sent to the supplier in the most appropriate way and that the requirements can be met.
• Runs materials overage reports to ensure materials availability as per the production schedule requirements.
• Supports day to day management of issues associated with late deliveries, damaged stock, quality failures.
• Supports MOH annual importation plan exercise by consolidating requirements on time.
• Keeping optimum inventory and safety stocks on site based on site material stock policy & Segmentation rules.
• Co-ordinate with Inbound logistics section head to accelerate customs clearance process.
• Measurement of supplier performance.
• Support the product discontinuation process assessing material/components position and monitoring them through the discontinuation date.
