Job Description
The Swiss Startup Association is the national umbrella organization for the Swiss startup ecosystem. As an independent lobby and voice of Swiss startups, we are particularly active in the areas of politics, society, financing, and networking of individual players.
We are looking for an Intern starting in December 2022/January 2023 or by arrangement for a minimum of 6 months. (80-100%)
You use your entrepreneurial drive and your innovative mindset every day to support our Swiss startups in all matters. In doing so, you immerse yourself in the startup world with all its hotshots, successes, and challenges.
Tasks
You take on tasks on your own. Of course, there is always somebody there to help you or offer feedback.

- Take the lead in smaller projects in e-mail marketing, events and acquisition and retention campaigns
- Perform a variety of tasks yourself
- Communicate with SSA board members and volunteers
- Communicate with our members and partners
- Work closely with the other SSA staff members on events, memberships, and other projects
Requirements
- You have a strong affinity for IT tools and love to take a deep dive into HubSpot, Eventbrite, WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, Google Suite etc.
- You would like to learn and execute your own projects under our guidance
- You're working independently and proactively right from the start
- You're ok to be at least 2 days in our office in Winterthur (remotely possible 2-3 days a week)
- Ideally, you are fluent in German and English
- You have a valid working permit for Switzerland/Canton of Zurich
