Our Client is a startup near Brussels focused on re-thinking healthcare and providing technology that empowers patients with chronic disorders. They believe that our health care system is not focused (enough) on patients with chronic diseases and believe that technology can provide significant relief for both patients and physicians. Our client has developed a platform for epilepsy and headaches, with mobile and web apps which helps patients and neurologists better understand their situation and have more control in their lives
Your responsibilities
As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be takingthe lead in building the marketing and communication strategy, and actively work to bring our client's brand online.

Your responsibilities
As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be takingthe lead in building the marketing and communication strategy, and actively work to bring our client's brand online.
Some of the tasks you'll be responsible for:
- Takingthe lead in building the marketing and communication strategy(5%)
- Identifying customers’ needs and conduct research to recommend new content topics (5%)
- Planning,writingandeditingcopyfor use in different channels(35%)
- Promotingour solution during congresses(5%)
- Coordinating the design of promotional materials(e.g. flyers, rollups,social mediaposts..)(15%)
- Working closely with product team to manage all copy and communication used in the products (5%)
- Creating and owning the entire branding for new and existing products(10%)
- Monitoringthe websitesand social media pages(5%)
- Collaborating withstakeholders on joint marketing campaigns (5%)
- Analyzingthe impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports(5%)
- Developing strategies and tactics to drive more qualified traffic to our company (5%)
Your profile
We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist, who has an interest and passion for Marketing, Communications and Content, and wants to contribute to a cause. We're looking for a self-driven and motivated person, who can manage his/her time and projects independently
Ideally, you are someone that:
- You have ideally 2 to 4 years of relevant working experienceas Content Specialist or a similar role (ideally in the medical or pharmaceutical sector).
- You are an independent and hands-on personality.
- Youare happiest when you can put your writing and communications skills to good use.
- You are familiar with CMS systems and SEO.
- You like to explore new opportunities and are interested indeveloping strategiesetc.
- Youhave excellent writing andcommunicationskills in English and Dutch and/or French.
