Location: Kisumu Kenya

Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Officer with our client you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the hotels facilities and equipment. From plumbing and electrical systems to HVAC and building structures youll ensure that everything is in top condition to meet the needs of guests and staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting equipment and facilities for signs of damage or wear.
   
2. Repair or replace faulty equipment fixtures and systems including plumbing electrical and mechanical components.
   
3. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the ongoing functionality of systems and equipment.
   
4. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff addressing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
   
5. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders repairs and equipment inventory.
   
6. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs or services.
   
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
   

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field.
   
2. Minimum of three years of experience in maintenance roles preferably in the hospitality industry.
   
3. Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems and equipment.
   
4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
   
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   
6. Proactive and selfmotivated approach to work.
