Mailroom Clerk

We are currently looking for a Mailroom Clerk for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $16.41.
3month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Flexible schedule starting between 7:30 am and 9:00 am.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the efficient operation of main mail distribution centers for head office and primary locations across Canada.
Manage all outgoing Advisor mail for Canadian Division Mail Services ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure service standards are consistently met or exceeded providing accurate distribution of Advisor mail to Advisors and Canadian Division Resource Centers nationwide.
Prioritize quality customer service and support for Advisors through business unit initiatives and production.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Canadian Division business and distribution channels.
Adhere to deadlines driven by Business Unit requirements and standards.
Receive open (if applicable) sort and deliver all incoming mail output and courier items to various business units within the Canadian Division.
Prepare sort and ship all outgoing mail and couriers.
Handle final processing of troubleshooting mail and inbound bulk mail stats and daily workflow.
Train all new staff within the mailroom.

What you will need to succeed:

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job. Some heavy lifting is required up to 20 lbs.
Strong multitasking organizational and prioritization skills suitable for a highvolume deadlinedriven environment.
Capacity to adapt effectively to fluctuating workloads.
Excellent comprehension of Advisor contract provisions practices and terminology.
Comprehensive knowledge of business units line areas and their products.
Proficiency in Goldmine system/mapping database Manulife Access Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Excellent PC skills demonstrating both speed and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and precisely both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in analytical thinking and problemsolving with a proven track record in managing change.
Meticulous attention to accuracy and detail.
