Emerge is seeking Low-Voltage Cable Installers to work with our NJ-based client. In this role, you will deliver hands-on expertise and perform operational tasks including cable pulling, placement, termination, testing and labeling at various locations in the Tri-State region. You must have reliable transportation to travel to specific job sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and program Low-Voltage and security systems
- Systems may include Access Control, CCTV, and Alarm systems
- Travel to client locations to install and service client s technical needs
- Perform testing and labeling of cables and patch systems
- Complete documentation and reports for each job
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Low-Voltage cable technician
- Experience with CAT5 and CAT6 structured cabling
- Strong cable management skills including tracing, testing and troubleshooting low-voltage devices and wiring
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an ability to adjust priorities and work effectively with a team
Work Environment
- Travel to different job sites in the Tri-State (NY/NJ/CT) metro region is required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Standard business hours; Monday-Friday
