Position: Livestock Worker Rogaland

Location: Rogaland Norway

Language: Proficiency in Norwegian & English

About the Role

Join the farming team in Rogaland as a Livestock Worker. This vital position entails managing the health and welfare of the farm animals including feeding general care and maintenance tasks associated with livestock farming. Ideal for those with a passion for agriculture and animal welfare who thrive in a dynamic handson working environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Feed water and monitor the health and wellbeing of livestock.
• Assist with the birth of animals and care for young livestock.
• Maintain clean and safe environments for all farm animals.
• Implement animal health programs as directed including administering medications and vaccines.
• Record keeping of livestock details including health records growth and breeding.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in livestock handling or a strong willingness to learn (Preferred).
• Understanding of animal welfare and regulations in Norway.
• Physical fitness and capableness to engage in manual work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
