Job Description: Focused Nursing for our Patients

Key Responsibilities: Providing Compassionate and Expert Care

• Quality Care Delivery: Ensure the delivery of safe and effective home health care.
  
• Nursing Practice Implementation: Uphold current and best nursing practices in home health care settings.
  
• Administrative and Educational Roles: Efficiently manage administrative tasks and contribute to the education of staff clients and the community.
  
• Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and complete documentation as required.
  
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work effectively with medical staff and other healthcare team members.
  

• The ideal candidate for the Licensed Practical Nurse role will possess:
  
• Nursing Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing with current LPN licensure in Virginia.
  
• Experience: Minimum of two years in home health care or a related health field.
  
• Transportation: Ability to travel to patients residences; possessing a valid Virginia Drivers license and a car with insurance.
  
• Clinical Knowledge: Familiarity with home health equipment and patient care documentation.
  
• Physical Capabilities: Able to work fulltime hours engage in physical nursing activities and handle jobrelated stress.
  

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Virginia
  
• Two (2) years of experience in home health care or related health field. Car with required proof of insurance coverage and a Virginia Driver s license
  
• Knowledge of all types of home health equipment utilized by patients as well as forms and paperwork necessary for documentation.
  

• Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. PRN AVAILABLE AND WELCOMED
  
• NO LIFT POLICY
  
• Able to write up to 3 hours per day.
  
• Able to work in a stressful environment.
  
• Able to drive 50100 miles per day.
  
• Able to assess and communicate with ill patients coworkers and general public.
