We are looking for a Director of Learning and Quality to oversee all learning and development training and talent management programs within the organization.
Ultimately as an influential leader within the company who will sit on the leadership team you will build and own the L&D function from the ground up Your overarching goals will be to establish the company as both an employer and brand of choice and ensure that employees receive toptier training and development as they grow within their function.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
CONTENT CREATION: This is essential to this role. Youll bring a track record of developing L&D programming that upskills individuals and departments at large. This includes the proven ability to steer a transformational learning experience by overseeing dynamic learning activities cuttingedge curriculum and resources via a digital LMS (UKG is our system and if you have direct user experience it will be a major plus!) Youll foster a culture of continuous learning through implementation of coaching sessions and mentorship programs. Spearhead new training methods including exciting elearning courses and gamification programming ensuring the learning experiences are both fun sticky and evolve over time.
SUCCESS MEASUREMENT: You will continuously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of learning solutions to ensure the clients strategic and operational objectives are met. Youll design training programs that align with business goals making sure every moment of learning quantifiably contributes to the organizations strategic success.
P&L OWNERSHIP: Youll own a quarterly annual budget and will direct resources to the most critical functions initiatives based on capacity and priorities.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Hire and develop a highperforming L&D team. Handle performance reviews and skills gap analysis. Craft individual career plans aligned to the departments business overarching goals.
Responsibilities:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not essential.
8 years in a direct Learning Development role / capacity; 5 years of progressive experience in L&D leadership.
0Bachelors degree in Human Resources Learning and Development Organizational Psychology or relevant field. Masters preferred.
Indepth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including content creation workshops simulations elearning and coaching). Experience with Articulate 360 is a plus.
Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment ideally within industries such as retail automotive services hospitality and/or food & beverage.
Multiunit / Multisite location experience is essential.
