Lead Structural Design Engineer / PHD

Job Description

• Management and technical involvement of multiple concurrent multi-disciplinary projects with regular review, prioritizing and reporting.
• Oversee feasibility analysis, project scoping, resource planning and cost estimating for team's activities.
• Oversee and approve the technical output ensuring compliance with specifications and appropriate regulatory requirements.
• Oversee design reviews of developments activities, apply best practice knowhow at agreed stages and sign off designs, specifications and documentation.
• Contribute to project proposals.
• Regular reporting of progress updates and resource utilization in agreed formats.
• Plan, direct, or coordinate engineering activities and engineering teams.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Definition, setting, monitoring and control of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Provide problem solving, collaboration, decision making and technical support to the team.

Job Requirements

• Education:B.Sc. of Civil Engineering/ PHD is highlyweighted. PMP Certificate is a plus
• Experience: +15 years of solid experience in Design activities forComplex Structure projects, rail projects and /or High-rise buildings
• Software: Sophistic,CSI, Auto CAD, MS office
• Languages: Fluent English language. Excellent French language is highly weighted.
