Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Position: Full Time

Location: The person selected for this position will be required to be located within or near the Memphis Metropolitan Area

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Planning and Operations:
Support remote users with their requests and incidents and work with thirdparty vendors to configure and ship the hardware assets install and configure endpoint assets for provisioning troubleshoot printer issues and provide deskside assistance.
Providing white glove support for executives Manage the hardware repairs and inventory management.
Manage data cleanup before disposal of assets. Coordinate with disposal company for assets disposals.
Provide smart hand support for Network and server devices.
Provide support for conferencing solutions and events.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders / Thirdparty vendors for breakfix.
Must be able to lead critical outage calls.
Create and maintain the Standard Operating Procedure and update
Oversee thirdparty installation testing and certification of operating system service packs hotfixes patches and upgrades.
Prior experience in a help desk environment Microsoft OS desktop environment multidomain Windows enterprise environment Virtual servers in a VMware environment Network monitoring tools Core Microsoft technologies including but not limited to Windows Servers Windows OS Active Directory Office 365
Experience with Microsoft Azure and M365.
Understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VPN.
Experience with JumpCloud
Familiarity with security tools
Strong knowledge of hardware and software components.
Ability to prioritize and multitask while accurately tracking time
Ability to solve problems without supervision

Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices to protect the companys digital assets and sensitive information.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations ensuring the companys infrastructure remains compliant with relevant standards.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate with IT teams vendors and stakeholders to achieve seamless integration of infrastructure components.
Provide technical leadership in areas of responsibility fosts a culture of continuous learning.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor operations and thirdparty vendor performance analyze trends and implement optimizations for optimal infrastructure efficiency.
Conduct regular capacity planning to anticipate and address future infrastructure needs.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of related infrastructure configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance security and compliance metrics for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent education and experience. This could include appropriate certifications.
Experience with Active Directory Azure
Experience with SCCM Citrix A/V automation and scripting
Proficiency in cloud windows and PowerShell
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Certification: Azure develops engineer expert
CompTIA A ITIL
Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality tact and diplomacy
Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel Access PowerPoint Word)
