Jr Financial Accountant

Are you an analytical solutionsminded accounting professional who enjoys using your investigative and technical skills to solve problems and streamline processes Do you enjoy collaborating with and learning from other team members on a variety of projects This entrepreneurial innovative financial services company is all about transforming their clients businesses while maintaining a closeknit supportive team. They are seeking a Junior Financial Accountant to support their book and recordkeeping functions. In this role you will manage the accounts payable functions; handle bank wire & credit card transactions; administer client ACH files; and prepare reports & client funding agreements while supporting the rest of the team on special projects and general office duties. This is a full time permanent role with a hybrid schedule based in Princeton NJ.

Must Haves Experience creating, managing, and analyzing budgets / financial forecasts based on historical & market data Background reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy 4+ years of Microsoft Suite experience, specifically strong background utilizing Excel to export and analyze large sets of financial data (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, data sorting & grouping, conditional formatting) Excellent computer proficiency with the capability to integrate and employ different financial software systems for seamless information flow; at least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Demonstrated capacity to prepare client-facing documents accurately and efficiently; ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner via written and verbal mediums Adaptable with excellent time management and organizational skills with the capability to calmly handle pressure and deadlines Background building strong relationships with colleagues and/or customers and prioritizing the client experience Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting Nice-To-Haves CPA certification Experience with a loan management system MBA
