About the role
AM Online is a team focused on the maintenance (L3) of Vodafone Portugal services where the main responsibilities are the stability of the environments ensuring the minimum possible downtime and the analysis of reported problems within the contracted SLAs.
Our team does not develop projects it only does bug fixing in some applications but it requires a lot of code analysis to identify problems. We have oncall support where a team member is responsible for being contactable for a week and resolving problems that arise outside of working hours.
We are looking for a person with high proactivity and resilience.
In this team the person gains a high knowledge of telco business and applications architecture.
As a part of your job you will:
- Incident management
- Problem/Change management
- Monitoring activities as required to ensure production environment is operating as expected.
- Evaluate identify and execute the necessary preventive activities to avoid production issues.
- On call support
- Bug Fixing
What qualifications are we seeking
- Good Java Skills
- Knowledge of web architectures and services (HTTP SOAP REST JSON)
- Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft PL/SQL
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of Javascript
- Knowledge of Shell /Bash Script
- Knowledge of Unix
- Knowledge React JS
- Hibernate
- Knowledge of Spring
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Weblogic is a plus
- AWS and Kubernetes Knowledge is a Plus
Personal traits:
Ability to adapt to different contexts teams and Clients
Teamwork skills but also sense of autonomy
Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included
Willingness to collaborate with other players
Strong communication skills
