• As a Solution Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the creation testing and delivery of applications developed by the Applications Programming Team.
• You will utilize your key skills in Java Based Programming web development database knowledge and product knowledge to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
• One of the essential duties is to analyze customer requirements outlined in the functional requirement document and design implement and develop solutions based on the product framework.
• You will also be responsible for developing requirements specifications design changes enhancements maintenance and JUnit test scripts for new and modified application systems.
• Additionally you will represent the company to major customers industry analysts and the public ensuring effective communication and understanding of design issues and requirements between development marketing and QA teams.
• Building and managing effective internal and external partnerships to ensure the successful delivery of objectives is another crucial aspect of this role.
• Furthermore your responsibilities will include writing code based on JAVA coding standards developing serverside components in Java for web portal collaborating with project leads to clarify client requirements and defining the problem domain in terms of business processes business rules and requirements for functionality technology and delivery.
• Qualifications:
• To be considered for this role you must have a Bachelors degree in engineering or a Masters in Computer Application along with at least 5 years of technical experience creating Javadriven Web Applications.
• You must be adept in Java (J2EE) JavaScript JSP HTML DHTML/Web Page Development in ReactJS including clientside scripting and SQL for relational databases (either Oracle and/or SQL Server).
• Other desirable technical skills include Web Service Ajax Groovy JQuery OpenSearch or Elastic Search Developing in a containerized environment DocumentDB MongoDB.
• The engineer should have familiarity with AWS services such as containerized Kubernetes API gateway RDS databases lambda and serverless.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline for software delivery adaptability to new technologies and the ability to deliver software releases in frequent cycles using an agile methodology are also important.
• Additionally you should possess excellent problemsolving skills the ability to identify ways to continuously improve processes excellent communication skills flexibility to work during normal US/UK office hours and workable knowledge of Jasper reporting (desirable).
