IT Support Engineer

Our client is a reputed manufacturing company that is currently looking for a Site Supervisor (Senior Draftsman) - Joinery and Furniture with joinery and furniture This role will be based in their production area in Sharjah and might need to visit the client s site from time to time or as

• Supervise the team on the manufacturing site and maintain a smooth
• Coordinate with Production Managers, Project Managers, and designers to gather necessary technical design and changes
  
• Prepare the joinery cutting list for all loose wooden/metal furniture and case goods
  
• Make detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings for productions
  
• Prepare, read, and interpret drawings and sketches
  
• Take site measurements and accurately calculate the sizes and amount of materials needed
• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical
  
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD
  
• Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
  
• Communicating with designers and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into
  
• Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering
  
• Ensuring final designs are compliant with building
  
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• A degree or diploma holder
  
• With at least 4 years of experience in the same role , supervisory operations
  
• Must have carpentry/joinery experience
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience of working on AutoCAD
  
• Willing to work in Sharjah
• Willing to work 6 days a week, from 9 AM to 6 PM
  
• Open to travel around UAE, if needed (transportation will be provided by the client)
