Job Description

Our client is a diversified service company in Saudi Arabia that provides a wide range of services across several industries including construction facility management and food and beverage in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

Job Context: Working as an IT Director to oversee the IT department and ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This individual will manage IT staff oversee technical projects and ensure the effective delivery of IT services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the IT departments operational and strategic planning including fostering innovation planning projects and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
  • Manage the deployment monitoring maintenance development upgrade and support of all IT systems including servers PCs operating systems telephones software applications and peripherals.
  • Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades installations conversions and file maintenance.
  • Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation including system and user manuals license agreements and documentation of modifications and upgrades.
  • Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
  • Manage financial aspects of the IT Department including purchasing budgeting and budget review.
  • Negotiate and administer vendor outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements.
  • Practice asset management for IT hardware software and equipment.
  • Manage IT staffing including recruitment supervision scheduling development evaluation and disciplinary actions.
  • Establish and maintain regular written and inperson communications with the organizations executives department heads and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science information systems business administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 to 15 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience with or proper knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies enterprise backup and recovery procedures and system performance monitoring.
  • Proven experience in IT planning organization and development.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
  • Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapportbuilding listening and questioning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
