Our client very successful wealth manager is currently looking for an Investment Advisor Assistant in the Markham area. This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individuals interested in developing their careers in financial services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Portfolio Manager in preparation for and execution of client meetings.
.
Solidify relationships with clients by responding to their inquiries in a professional pleasant and timely manner.
.
Working with client portfolios you’ll be responsible for processing financial transactions trades and policy changes in an accurate and timely fashion.
.
Effectively manage the daytoday operations of our office including responsibility for meeting all compliance regulatory and privacy policy standards.
.
Assistance with administrative duties including telephone coverage filing photocopying and faxing.
.
Developing and implementing new marketing campaigns and projects (e.g. social media/website).
QUALIFICATIONS:
.
Postsecondary degree or diploma.
.
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is considered an asset.
.
Intermediate knowledge of software including Microsoft Office and specifically Excel.
.
Experience with Goldmine Contact Management software an asset.
.
Analytical and problemsolving proficiency.
.
Customer service centric.
.
Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
.
Strong organizational skills attention to detail and flexibility in an evolving work environment.
.
Being a team player with a positive attitude is essential for success in this position.
