Job Title: Collections Specialist (US Process)
Job Description:
Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our team as Collections Specialists for our US Collection Process. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in International BPO and International Sales demonstrating a proven track record of success in debt recovery and customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Debt Recovery:
  • Contact customers with delinquent accounts through outbound calls and other communication channels.
  • Negotiate and establish repayment plans based on customers financial situations.
  • Utilize effective communication and persuasion techniques to recover outstanding debts.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding overdue payments.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to find mutually beneficial solutions to resolve outstanding debts.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while dealing with challenging situations.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Accurately document all interactions with customers including payment arrangements and commitments.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to collections performance and provide regular updates to the management team.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and updates in debt collection laws.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to share insights and strategies for improving collection efficiency.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Prior Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in International BPO and International Sales.
  • Proven track record in debt recovery and achieving collection targets.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
  • Negotiation Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to reach mutually agreeable solutions.
  • Analytical Skills:
  • Ability to analyze customer situations and develop appropriate strategies for debt recovery.
  • Technology Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other tools used in the collections process.
  • Adaptability:
  • Ability to adapt to changes in processes procedures and industry regulations.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
