Job Overview

You will have responsibility for the ongoing management of Fixed Income Indices, providing a high quality experience to our global client base, and contributing to the ongoing development of the business, processes and team environment. A strong interest in financial markets in general, especially fixed income, will help you ensure that the daily tasks run smoothly, while you will also be expected to work with accuracy and an attention to detail when dealing with complex calculations and large amounts of market data. You will be part of an international team and work collaboratively alongside technology, product development and commercial team.

Your Tasks

  • Performing rule-based selections and rebalancing s of Solactive and client indices
  • Verifying and monitoring the index calculation on a daily basis
  • Working in the development of new, efficient and robust operational workflows
  • Being a key point of contact for a broad base of global clients
  • Working with various internal teams (Product Development, Data-Solutions, IT)
  • Help to maintain existing data feeds and implement new ones
  • Testing new features for our calculation engine in cooperation with our Development Team.

Your Profile

  • Working permit or residency in Canada is a must
  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or any other relevant fields
  • Relevant work experience/internship and knowledge of capital markets, in particular with fixed income markets and securities
  • Experience working with or knowledge of mutual funds, portfolio management, ETFs or indexing is a plus
  • Programming skills in Python, SQL, VBA and Rundeck is a plus
  • Highly motivated to work independently and with precise attention to detail
  • Experience with financial database systems (FactSet and/or Reuters) would be an asset
  • Team player who is able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple teams and locations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to serve clients in a productive manner which reflects well on the firm
