IMS DB Developer

Responsibilities:

• Install implement test and tune IMS DB and DC system.
• Provide DBA support to application developers utilizing IMS DB.
• Maintain and tune backuprecovery processes for IMS Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Administer IMS system using consoles JCL DL/I and backup procedures.

Mandatory Skills:

• IMS DB

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 78 years of experience working with IMS DB.
• Strong understanding of IMS database architecture and design principles.
• Proficiency in IMS DB installation implementation testing and tuning.
• Experience providing DBA support to application developers.
• Knowledge of backuprecovery processes for IMS DR.
• Ability to administer IMS system using consoles JCL and DL/I.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Must be a local candidate available to work onsite in Columbus OH.
