Job Description

Hours: Flexible Schedule; 30 hours per week (part-time)

Support sales and marketing initiatives, programs and goals through telephone, fax, direct mail and email efforts with assigned or unassigned territories.

Responsibilities of a Product Support Specialist are to promote product awareness, establish and maintain relationships and educate physicians along with key customers on Palmetto s products. Our Product Support Specialists are responsible for continued communication with key customers including physicians, nurses, medical assistants and pharmacists to ensure:

  • Product awareness
  • Product education
  • Product availability
  • Increased prescribers of Palmetto products

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Major responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Contact physician base provided by Palmetto to educate on and promote Palmetto products.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in physician offices.
  • Manage regular call rotation.
  • Record and maintain customer database including demographics, literature mailings, and office infrastructure.
  • Research physician base as necessary to gain contact information.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails and voice messages.
  • Participate in product training to gain product proficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent related experience (required)
  • Customer service / sales experience (recommended)
