Title: Healthcare Project Manager

Duration: 12 Months (with high possibility of extension)

Location: Pierre SD (Hybrid)

• The successful candidates will be located in Pierre and be on site at least one week per month

• If travel is required for individual work orders travel costs will be reimbursed separately. (Lodging mileage and meals will be reimbursed)

Job Description:

• Lead a team of business and data analysts to oversee the design development and implementation of various information system transformation projects. Provide strategic direction to the agency.

• Assists with defining strategic direction of enterprise level IT implementations.

• Define business and technological requirements consults with product owner subject matter experts and scrum teams to define business needs and objectives.

• Provides project management of highly complex largescale enterprise IT projects and smaller scale projects.

• Lead and coordinate efforts of development team and vendors to ensure solutions are implemented successfully.

• Ensures project governance and monitoring controls are in place.

• Responsible to ensure project design development and implementation are on time and budget.

• Mentor state personnel in project management and over time potentially train state resources to take over this function.

Qualified candidates should have the following skills and experience:

• Successful experience managing information technology solutions.

• PMP certification or equivalent working experience.

• Knowledge of various software development methodologies (agile waterfall DevOps etc.)

• Experience in successfully applying project management and project governance principles
