Job Description
Head of PYP needed in an IB School in Gurgaon.
(School Leadership Role)
Responsibilities -
To develop and nurture the desirable ethos and culture in the school which is based on right understanding and practice of Internationalism and core values
Responsibilities include but are not limited to achieving top academic results in internal and external examinations, nurturing and celebrating talent in sports, arts and other co-curricular activities, smooth transitioning of incoming students into the Primary School and outgoing students into the middle school.
Responsible as an active member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) achieving the financial viability of the Primary School.
Achieve the year wise admission targets for the Primary School in close collaboration with the entire team responsible for admissions to reach the ultimate capacity within the defined timelines.
Be expected to teach a minimum of 6 periods a week. Any increase, or exemption thereof, shall be in consultation and approval of the School Director.
Shall direct and co-ordinate the educational and counseling activities of the Primary School in compliance with the academic and education standards.
Have control of the internal organization of the Primary School, and its day to day affairs.

Applying and coordinating necessary affiliations and memberships with organizations such as IBO, CIE, Department of Education, GOI, State Education Department, CBSE, ICSE, CIS, NCIS or any other national/international department or agency.
Introducing, installing, developing and practicing the International Curriculum and education methodologies namely:
Primary Years Program of IBO
Theory of Multiple Intelligences (as is effectively practiced in schools such as New City School, St. Louis, USA)
Project Based Learning
Anytime, Anywhere, Learning
Any other Curriculum or methodology which is good for the School
