Head of Engineering

• Ensure that all the IA production machines and utility equipment in high performance and good manner by insuring implementation the preventive maintenance plan on time, Quick and reliable corrective maintenance activities and insure availability of the most required spare parts in the engineering stores.
• Follow the Building maintenance activities to ensure maintaining the site in good condition compliant with Operations, Quality & HSE requirements.
• Lead new projects implementation during planning, construction & qualification phases according to global & local quality, HSE & regulatory standards within the pre-defined budget and time plan.
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Arrange OPEX and CAPEX of Engineering department according to the approved budget.
• Ensure availability of the required spare parts (foreign and local) for all production machines & Utility equipment.
• Supervise performing the required tasks and participating in achieving departmental goals according to the strategy of the Sanofi site.
• Ensure Development and maintenance of PM plan, procedures and its update based on risk assessment and change in Equipment status.
• Ensure the needed corrective maintenance activities performed in the optimum time to minimize machine stoppage and improve machines and utilities availability.
• Development of site Maintenance plan and follow up of execution of site maintenance activities. Ensure Defining action plan and its implementation for HSE / Quality / Internal control audit points related to Engineering department with Quality.
• Supervise Preparing and Organizing monthly annual leave for Engineering crew / Ensure efficient organization of the engineering department to meet the site goals considering high productivity of engineering team.
• Ensure implementation and achievement for Engineering Goals.
• Ensure Engineering KPIs definition, implementation, communication and Follow Up, including reliability KPis to follow the machine and maintenance performance and define action plan accordingly.
• Develop & report Engineering progress reports (Weekly Headsup , Monthly report, …Etc )
• Coach, supervise & motivate Engineering team to take positive actions & accountability of their assigned works and ensure availability of development plan for engineering team.
• Ensure the required training (induction / On Job) are adequately completed for engineering team.
• Ensure that standards related to safety, environmental, Health, housekeeping, energy and discipline are adhered to and maintained.
• Ensuring that emergency situation fully defined and deployment for all Engineering employees and everyone know his role well.
• Ensuring that the necessary HSE resources are available for the achievement of Engineering PASS objectives.
