Grower Accounting Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Grower Accounting Manager to oversee all financial aspects related to our grower partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with growers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all financial transactions and processes related to grower accounts including but not limited to invoicing payments and reconciliations.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers providing financial guidance and support as needed.
3. Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of growerrelated transactions in the accounting system.
4. Analyze grower contracts agreements and pricing structures to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
5. Prepare and present regular financial reports and analyses to management highlighting key insights and performance metrics related to grower accounts.
6. Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast grower payments and expenses ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
7. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard growerrelated assets and mitigate financial risks.
8. Stay updated on industry trends regulations and best practices related to grower accounting and recommend process improvements as needed.
9. Lead mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals responsible for grower accounts fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance
3. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
4. Experience working in the agricultural or farming industry is highly desirable.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite with advanced skills in Excel.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with growers vendors and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
7. Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results.
8. Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
