About the Role:
In this handson role you will be the driving force behind our assigned air filter product groups. A global role with an emphasis on our European organization one to two years. Youll oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept and design all the way through to production launch and endoflife management. Youll collaborate closely with various teams across the organization ensuring seamless product development and market success.
What will you be doing
- Spearheading Air Filter Innovation:Youll lead assigned product lines from concept to launch and beyond overseeing design prototyping testing and market success.
- Driving Efficiency & Differentiation: Collaborate globally to standardize products reduce costs and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- CustomerCentric Focus: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through collaboration and identify market gaps for new product ideas that drive growth.
- Strategic Leadership: Secure internal and external buyin for your product vision develop pricing strategies and translate product plans into actionable steps.
- Accelerated TimetoMarket:Partner with crossfunctional teams to deliver prototypes quickly and efficiently and spearhead product launches.
- Product Champion: Act as an advocate for your assigned products ensuring clear messaging and building awareness internally and externally.
- Voice of the Customer: Represent the company by gathering customer feedback to inform future product development.
Our ideal candidate
- Has a background in mechanical engineering or a similar business degree. Experience with design software (Autodesk Product Design or similar) and understanding of HVAC/filtration principles are advantages.
- And has 47 years of experience in product engineering/design project management or product development is essential. Experience with improvement methodologies (e.g. Kaizen Six Sigma) is a big plus.
To be successful in this role you have a strong technical and business acumen. You are detail oriented and you have a strong work ethic. Thanks to your excellent written and verbal communication skills you are able to present information effectively. Your ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with a commitment to ethical decisionmaking ensures you get your work done.
